This app stores nothing — no account, no database, no history. On Cloud, your text is sent to Groq (United States) to be processed; Groq does not train on it, and this project's account has Zero Data Retention enabled, so inputs and outputs are not logged. On Local, nothing leaves the machine running the app.
Use at your own risk. “Not collected” is not the same as “guaranteed private”. Cloud mode still transmits your text to a third party operating under its own terms, which can change and are outside this project's control. Don't paste passwords, API keys, customer or employee personal data, financial or health records, or anything covered by an NDA or your employer's policy on third-party AI tools — a free-tier account carries no data-processing agreement. If in doubt, switch to Local.
